I came across a site where i could built my own gaming PC for a good price. But my question is: Is this a good pc to play battlefield 3? these are the specs:

700 Wat power
AMD Zambezi FX-6100, SixCore processor
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 motherboard
16 GB corsair DDR3 RAM
1 TB of space
AMD Radeon 7770 1GB GPU

on youtube i find gameplay from people playing with this processor but they are using the AMD radeon 6970 what is the exact difference? is that video card better or worse?

6870 is better than a 7770 and the 6970 is better than the 6870. What resolution are you planning to run BF3 in? This video shows the 7770 running it between 15 ~ 30 fps on ultra at 1080p. My opinion would be to maybe cut the RAM to 8gb and get a better GPU unless you need it for video editing or something.

aha now i know it thanks, i think i will try to keep my 16GB of RAM but will also upgrade my GPU

6950 is better then 7770 ,the six core cpu is actually no better then the quad core zambezi chip set get the quad core it will perform better for the money 6 core is more and you will not get better performance apps dont even take full power of more then one or two cores let alone a few games/apps psu depends also if you can get a msata slot on a motherboard and buy a 32gb ssd for caching get a 1tb 16mb cache hdd its way cheaper and you will never use the cache on it 6950/6970 or a 6990 which is two 6970's can run bf3 on max with at least 30-60fps youll probably be hitting more then 60 in most spots

won't be amazing trade out the cpu for a phenom 2 x4 965 and the 16gb of ram to 8gb then you can get a 7850 which will be great

Ultra is the highest setting so it will get a bit of fps drop but most people play on normal or high hardly anyone new to gaming on pc will try ultra i get 55 fps on DayZ on the highest settings but i use high which i get about 60 fps or 61

7850 is the same price as a 6870 that everyone is recommending, but runs a lot better.
Get that instead.
