Do a barrel roll!
The Save's include the following for ALL Character's:
- Nearly all Orange legendary's (The rest of the legendary's are in the vault)
- All location's discovered on all maps (Every area uncovered)
- All missions completed on both playthrough's 1 & 2
- Max skill points (Filled all 3 skill tree's)
- 127 backpack space
- All upgrade's
- Max eridon
- Max money

Sorry I don't have the DLC for Mechromancer in which I don't have a save for Gaige!

Only if you end up changing play through's! Example: your on 2nd play through and your friends on 1st play through and you join him then yes they would get reset!
Here's how to fix: Make backup save's on USB and anytime you want to change play through's select your character at the BL2 main menu screen, then select the play through you want and it should save if you changed play through's, then quit the game and copy back your save to your PS3 and go back on BL2 and just start the game or join a friend and you should be good to go!
