1. The gamepad 'It's all about the experience'
This is one of the more obvious features of the Wii U. The fact that the gamepad to console interaction comes in one box and that games are specifically designed to make use of the extra screen make the Wii U concept more attractive. Innovative multiplayer, as in for example playing Black Ops II. One person would use the TV screen whilst the other person would use the Wii U gamepad. It would stop those 'screen lookers' and also could be more enjoyable to have a whole screen to yourself. With motion sensors, a camera, microphone and NFC, it's got plenty of tricks to make games something new and innovative.

2. Nice Exclusives.
Currently a steady start rather than an avalanche, Wii U looks set to have some exciting exclusives on the way. Two third party launch titles include 'Rayman Legends' and 'ZombiU'. There are also plenty of exciting titles being either developed by or published by Nintendo. Many are due in the launch period up to the end of March 2013, including games as diverse as LEGO City Undercover. Two Nintendo produced titles on launch day include 'NintendoLand' and 'New Super Mario Bros. U'. Don't fret there are sure to be many more titles to be announced over the upcoming months such as Pikimin 3, Super Smash Bros. U.

3. Third Party Catch Up.
The Wii missed out on Third party blockbusters, but with new 1080p Wii U third party developers fit right in. Darksiders II, Mass Effect 3 , Assassin's Creed 3, Black Ops II all these games are coming to Wii U. A lot more third party games will be coming to Wii U and with the new gamepad feature the Wii U may have the best version for these games over the Xbox 360 and PS3.

4. MiiVerse
Nintendo are known for their fiddly FriendCode system but that has all changed with the addition of Nintendo Network. Alongside this comes MiiVerse 'a Nintendo gamer's social network' this will combine with Nintendo Network to provide a full and complete onlline experience. It's all long overdue, of course, but early indications about this and the system's eShop suggest potentially good things for taking Wii U online.
5. It's a new Nintendo Console
A number of Nintendo gamers, like enthusiasts of any other technology company, will be excited simply because it's a new home console from the big N. HD visuals, a new controller and a strong looking launch window all help, of course, but it's a new Nintendo system. It's like the legions that buy a new iThingy from Apple or a new console from Sony or Microsoft, the fact it's bigger and better than Wii will seal the deal for plenty.
