(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i dont know why but i cant seem to get any GTA IV update.img hacks to work..... i have tryed installing the normal pkg, replacing the update.img with the modded one, and it doesnt work... :/ and now i tryed to install the mod selector package and replace the update.img and it still doesnt work.... can someone send me a BLES modded PKG for the regular gta iv? :/ or show how to do it properly, many of you are probably going to say that there is plenty of tutorials on NGU. and it is, i tryed following them and it didn't work.... any help would be appreciated.

ok. First. Are u playing on CFW or OFW? just simply download the 1.06 update of the servers. don't use a PKG. after that replace the update.img and boot game its that simple. Also note if your playing on 3.55 u need a special pkg to run it

if your playing on OFW you need to update then install the game then data transfer to your cfw then change the update.img then data transfer back.... Simples

i have tryed to run the game for 15 secomds so i get the game data utility and then switched the updates. on the orginal GTA IV i did it now but on TBOGT?? :/ i tryed to run the game for 15 sec to get the gamedata so i could replace the files...

This is the way I did it and it works

1.Delete GTAIV game data on OFW
2.Insert GTAIV Disk
3.Install Latest Patch (it will prompt you when you start game)
4.Let it install the game (usually takes 5 to 10min)
5.Exit game
6.Data transfer from OFW to CFW ps3 (you will need the 9.99 spoofer enabled on your CFW to do this)
7.Using FTP or File manager ON YOUR CFW Replace the update.img with the modded update.img
8.DISABLE THE 9.99 Spoofer
9.Data Transfer from CFW to OFW PS3 (HAVE FUN) :p

delete the gta iv patch on your CFW then make sure it's connected to the internet but your not logged into an account just to be safe then simply put gta in update it replace the update.img and test it on your CFW before you transfer it to OFW
