I can't find proper instructions to install and run these pinkhouse .img? I get that i rename it to update.img and it goes in hdd0/.../userdir, but when?

1.do i put it in there before i install the game data? or before the update it'll ask for, or what?
2.do i have to edit the common file at all or is there any other files i have to mess with?

I need some detailed instructions most of these newer mod pages don't give crap all for instructions...

Is it really that hard to figure out? Just open blus30127 , usrdrctry or however its spelled, and replace your update.img with a modded one, you do this after the games installed and updated.

make sure you install the gta pkg .. then replace the update.img file then install game

Download the 1.06 update. Quit game. FTP to dev_hdd0/games/YOUR REGION/USRDIR and replace the update.img. Quit thats it. Game data doesn't need to be installed before. it wont make a difference when you install it, aslong as you have the 1.06 update downloaded and update.img replaced. you can then data transfer or just load the game and play
