(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I started building a new rig from new parts and parts laying around the house. I would like some critic as to how well it would run Minecraft.

Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V - You must login or register to view this content.
Processor: Intel i5 3570k - You must login or register to view this content.
RAM: 32 GB of Vengeance - You must login or register to view this content.
Graphics Card: Radeon HD 5770 - You must login or register to view this content.

I Would like at least around 90 FPS on MAX Settings, but would I have to upgrade the Graphics Card For That?
Please Let Me Know What You Guys Think.

Why are you getting 32GB of RAM? Dump that and get a better graphics card. The 5770 is extremely old and outdated.

I can run minecraft on max settings and it maintains a decent frame rate and my computer cost me $350.

Well if you are only going to be using this computer for Minecraft and Minecraft only, then you don't need to upgrade it. It's just that usually people won't buy a computer to do one thing and one thing only. If you want to play modern games at high settings I would consider at least a 7850 or 7870. If you want to play every game on max settings without problems, and still be covered for future games I'd get a 670 or a 7970.

I'd upgrade to this as a processor and dump that 32GB of RAM, at least to 16GB or so.

My specs are:
Processor: Intel Core i7 870
Graphics Card: EVGA GTX 670 FTW+ 4GB
Motherboard: Intel DP55KG Extreme Series
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Blue 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB
Monitor: 2x Acer HD235hz 120hz monitors

I never run Minecraft at Max settings, since I want over 120fps. But with shaders, I get a stable 60fps.
