From what I've heard if you just change the level it won't stick after your next race it reverts back to your previous noob level. Maybe try searching for you experience points and try to edit that, good luck.

you could jus borrow glitch a x2010 the one with minus pp points. go to seasonals. go to the 670pp supercar event (think its that one) do the last race on the list. will take you 5 mins and watch as you instantly level up past level 30 if you on 200% login bonus and get 20million credits.

Easy.

EDIT: You dont get anything for reaching level 40 anyway so not worth bothering mate.
