Ok, if you want to know how many total BHP you want (excluding oil refresh), here's an easy calculating method, it's actually very easy and basic maths. This is can be 100% accurate with premiums since they don't have any break-in (yet) or any wear and tare over time. Standards do, unles they are 0/0 cars (0 miles/km's/0 modifications) found in the Online Collector's Dealership.
The outcome is completely dependant on your base BHP. In my case this was 310 BHP, outputted by an RB26DETT in the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-spec (R33) '97.
Personally, I like creating replicas and keeping BHP's realistric (unlike many other that seem to think that this is another Need for Speed game...), thus staying true to the BHP's is necessary. So I needed to calculate what the multiplying values are BEFORE modifying my car. Here they are:
BHP multiplier @ 00 = base BHP = 310 BHP
@ 05 = base BHP x 1.1031158065
@ 06 = base BHP x 1.3258064516
@ 07 = base BHP x 1.54xxxxxxxx
@ 08 = base BHP x 1.76xxxxxxxx
@ 09 = base BHP x 1.9870967742
@ 0A = base BHP x 2.20xxxxxxxx
@ 0B = base BHP x 2.24xxxxxxxx (310 BHP x 2.24xxxxxxxx ≈ 694 BHP)
etc.
@ 10 = base BHP x 3.535483871
@ 11 = base BHP x 3.7580645161 (310 BHP x 3.7580645161 = 1165 BHP)
etc.
I hope you will have alot of vantage using this tutorial.
Please PM me if you have any questions, suggestions and/or if you have found any mistakes.
Thanks.
Edit: After some more testing, it actually doesn't seem to be quite that simple. There must me some kind of algorythm in it. Let me find it out. Apologies.
Edit 2: For some reason, the BHP multiplter seems to jump from x 1.9870967742 (09) to x 3.535483871 (10)...
Edit: That's odd. It only jumps between 09 and 10. After that, it seems to follow the same 0.22xxxxxxxx increase again. :yuno:
Edit 3: Thanks to Budddy everything is cleared up! 10 is suppsed to be 0A, and 11, 0B etc. D'OH it's hex! :dumb:
