(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Anyone else experiencing this? I modded a car, Lexus IS F '07, put a 2JZ in it, a 6-gear fully customizable gearbox, 08'd the powr multiplier, fully tuned the car, and ended up with about 1085 BHP. Perfect. Except I've LOST that beautiful 2JZ sound. All I hear are the tires, the gearbox (LOUD) and the exhausts backfiring (quite loud too).

DAFUQ?

Do a barrel roll!
did you switch exhausts? sometimes that can mess it up, i put a Ford GT motor in a Mustang and for some reason when i put on Sports exhaust it sounded like the DC5, but with race exhaust it went back to Ford GT sound lol

You talkin to me?
Sometimes parts on the destination vehicle are incompatible with the new engine.
I find it can be fixed sometimes by bringing the exhaust/turbo/engine tune stage/supercharger.
Even if the source car didnt say it had those parts.

Thanks for your input. I just tried every possible combination or parts but nothing. It keeps whispering like an electro vehicle and with a loud gearbox haha.

I should be compatible though. Lexus = Toyota. :troll:

Hehe yeah seen that many many many times. xD On the Supraforums too. Over and over. :P

Edit: Just installed the original gearbox. It still has the original V8 engine sound, but very faint... Star over with the car? Has anyone else tried the same setup?
