Viper F40 - F40 chassis. They are perfect together but unfortunately the Oreca chassis gets swapped back to front on the F40. The F40 works on the Viper though.

Aston Martin DBR9 GT1 - Premium ARTA Gariya fits absolutely perfect. Others that fit are the Jaguar XJR9 premium and the Audi R8 Lemans car. The R8 Le Mans will need tons of camber up front to be ok though. Oh for a livery editor and proper paint shop.

Premium Oreca Viper - Premium Asparadrink RX-7. Closest we will get to a premium Oreca Viper. As usual the Viper body turns a cars chassis around so that the front is a little wider than rear but its not as bad as the standard Oreca chassis.

Ferrari F40 LM - Premium Asparadrink RX-7. Not perfect. Just like the Viper above F40 body likes to turn chassis around. It bugs me but I cant find anything else in the game that fits as good. Ive officially given up finding a better chassis for either of them....I dont think one with downforce exists in the game.

Yeah I tried that already. I ended up with invisible cars or car bodies without wheels etc. lol....Sucks because you cant get the car right because of some hard coded problem that turns the chassis around for some reason with certain car bodies. Keep trying maybe you will suceed where I failed.

BTW some sick pics there. Love the visuals from NB and that Camaro with what looks like crinkle wall tires is sweet.



Some car bodies seem to restrict chassis and tire width whereas some others dont. I dont know why. The Beetles body will not let the tires be wide. Ive tried some wide cars and the same thing happens. I quit trying but Im sure someone will find one that can have some wider tires. I might try the standard beetle body and see if it does the same thing the premium body does to chassis and wheel widths.

I can confirm the m3 gtr race car chassis fits the csl and gtr very nice

the licenseplate on my ZR1 says 'corvette', not ZR1...

They're from GT yes, I've only added the plate and flares with Gimp

I saw a rsx on gtp that had the f1 rear wheels could this be the fix to our f40 problem?

I think that was a photoshop iirc. So far Ive had no success finding anything that looks good enough.

I did find a few chassis that will fit reasonably with the Audi RS6 and M5. The longer Le Mans/Group C cars like the Toyota GT1 fit almost flush but you cant lower the car or it will clip but you get a killer sleeper wagon with downforce.

Do you have the chassis code by any chance?.... It's one of a few I don't have.

I've created an Excel spreadsheet now with filters so that I can find stuff quickly which is pretty handy rather than trawling through the threads. Having said that, i'm enjoying the trawling to see peoples creations which is probably why I haven't done many builds this week ....

My best creation so far is a wingless R34 with Z06 chassis, Dunlop R34 engine, lexus ISF tranmission and SLS AMG diff. Great car!
