That's the max the game reads, many cars go faster than 999mph.

Yes. My X1 that I made went 2,650 kph at one point, or 1,646 mph. Had to use the dash speedo on it.

After 621 mph (999 kph) the speedo resets to 0. Every time it resets to 0 is another 1,000 kph. Mine climbed up to 650 kph after resetting twice.

What gear ratios did you use? What did you set the number to?

The only one I changed in HxD was 7th gear, which is the only one I use in that car. I don't remember what I set it to though.

Definitely not zero, and not a high number. I think I set it for something in the .300-.400 range.

Ive done low 37 second laps on route x. So here is some math if we rounded that to 37 seconds

18.8 miles = 99,264ft
99,264 / 37sec= 2682.8108 ft per second
2682.8108fps x 60 = 160968.65
160968.65 x 60= 9658119
9658119 / 5280(ft in a mile)

1829.1862 mph (average) I do well over 2000mph in the straights
