That is all they can do really... it would be much quicker and effective for them to do that, than to spend time coding some complex patch which (given PD's track record) would no doubt screw everyone's gamesaves up.

Dont give ideas to PD :dumb:, at least in playstation forum, some sc*mbags give the IDs of people who play with hacked cars in online to PD admins and mods.

Do the PD stills producing DLC´s?
NO

Are their effort right now 100% in the GT6 production?
YES

Are they watching closely this modding scene and learn something about what the costumers want and asked for years?
I hope so... there is no how to monopolize the creative concepts of the game. They are losing a lot of people interest since FM started to deliver to their players more options of customization. Actualy people do not want to hack the game for cheating or screw around with unrealistic cars, what they really want is make things that the game features itself do not allows.

Oh i really do hope they are watching and thinking these real life swaps that are being made by hacks are really popular maybe we should add it to the franchise.

What has that got to do with this?

How do you know? Source?

Don't count on it. Engine swaps was a reality in GT1's period too.

My input is just leave it, but address it and let the community they know about it, and, if possible, punish the ones who abuse i.e. Taking 200,000hp X1 into real racing lobbies and what not. Otherwise I see no problem with the GT5 community creating realistic, cool, and reasonable cars that couldn;t be created with the in-game presets. Just my two-cents. Smile

Maggbot timeout!
If they think it's needed to be solved, they just use the data I got to filter out anything not matching the default.

If car ID != car parts, reset to default.

I pray they don't put the copy protection back on it else I cannot access 75% of my cars anymore....

But I think PD is happy, GT5 hacks gave a lot of attention. Many gamers got back into GT5 just because it was now possible to create real-spec cars. Many of those gamers will consider to buy GT6 when it comes out.

And for the guys who think the hacked cars destroy the online experience, is simple, just use a HP restriction or PP restriction and problem solved Happy, if anyone use a hack car and you dont want it, just ban from your room.

Its not like CoD MW where you cant ban the hackers of the match.

I honestly have no sympathy for room hosts who complain about crazy HP cars joining their room because they have -PP. It's like they are completely oblivious to the HP limiter. Problem solved.
