Now, on to my question. I've seen a couple of pics of cars without hoods installed. Now, how is this done? I've tried comparing saves and I can't seem to find the code that's been switched. :confused:

I would imagine that the model of the engine,like the wheels, is tied to the body model, so swapping would not work. Only the functional characteristics (torque curve, redline, output, and resulting acoustics) gets carried over when you swap the engine.

How are y'all taking the hood off of cars that you can't install carbon fiber hoods on? Please help and thank you in advance.

This I don't think is possible but you can try and that hks Evo I tried taking the hood off but all there is ffffff ect so is this really possible if so to the original post can u provide a picture



Edit number 2 I tried swapping the hks Evo engine into the evo 8 premium and it doesn't show

soooo.. I think one of the ways to really find out what's under the hood is level 40 damage, if the hood comes flying off and you can see an engine, your in luck when it comes to removing that hood. (usually works on rally cars, and the subby)
