Do you know you can mod a car on sheeting sheet A change to setting sheet B or C and completely change the car through hex again, so its possible to have three cars in one using different bodies etc
yea it can be done i have made three cars so far that share the body first setup for the ring the 2nd is for special stage X and the third i keep stock ..
There is a car limit which is 2000 cars.
You can of course add 3 different tunes to each car, wondering though,
when you install engine upgrade, that counts for every setup tab.
Also weight reduction is a global add.
You mean 2900 all in the Garage or in Garage and Car Exchange together?
To be exact, my save had 2898 cars in the garage. And 117 additional gift car tickets (I guess thats what you mean with car exchange?). I haven't tried to redeem a ticket yet..

Because as far as I know you can have 2000 in the Garage and the rest in Car Exchange.
Like I said, maybe with ingame methods if you just keep buying cars and redeeming tickets..
I am curious as ot how you were able to exceed the games 2000 car garage limit. Every time I hit it I can not add any more cars to it other than tickets kept in the truck of which I have 125.
As written above, I haven't done that in game. And I haven't tried to redeem a ticket then.
In theory, I was never near that 2000 car limit. I used a savegame with something like 1200 to 1700 cars as a base and then added a huge batch of cars from another savegame to the garage.
The primary target for this was to test, if I am able to expand my savegame up to the file GT5.3 and if the game would load it/save it. I wasn't trying to bypass any limitation on the number of cars in the garage..
So, when you're hitting the limit of 2000 cars inside the game, you're not allowed to buy anymore cars? Regardless of premiums and UCD/OCD standards?
But you are still able to redeem gift tickets for cars?
