i also lowered it a tad.

anyway, when trying to go back on the game it wouldnt load past the gt5 logo screen, but then when changing the code back to standard it did, any ideas why ?

Not all engines are compatible with every car if i am correct.

You either put bytes in the wrong place aka changing code that you shouldnt have, or you got faulty engine bytes. This has happened to me once before too, but I looked around some more and found different bytes for the engine and then it worked. This what most people are going to tell you on here, check your bytes. Either that or put a picture up so we can tell you exactly where the problem is.....

what i usually do for all my swaps is just upload the donor cars myself so that way im sure i have all the right codes. I found a few codes on here that did the same thing to my game.

I've been working on my own customer tune sheets. Has a list of all the cars I've tested, paint colors that work, chassis, engine, drive-train, gearbox.. Turbos from a few specific cars and superchargers. I'll post one day when its complete. Similar to the ENTIRE PARTS PARAM post on here but with only the cars that I've tested and know for sure works.
