(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm trying to make a Lotus do 999 MPH, with the X1 engine, chassis, etc. I give it the Bentley Speed 8 gearbox with 9 gears but I can't get it right, it will only do 301 MPH. How do you make it go faster? I've searched the forums but nothing helps lol.

Tried in both HxD and both garage editors.

Go into tuning, transmission, then fully customizeable transmission, reset to default, move final gear all the way to the right (should be like 5 or 5.5, then move the top speed all the way to max, then move final gear all the way to the left (should be like 2) hope it helps! I haven't been able to get over 770mph myself though even through tutorials. I've been told you have to manually set the gears through the PC to get 999mph, but this way usually gets me 670-800.

im also having a time with gearing.. i have two cars that i did and the one reads a top speed of 2268mph another is 1669mph i used the vayron 7 speeds in both.. how i did it is what boggles me though, i havent been able to put these setups in my gtr so im starting to think its only works on some cars
