In this case I'm sure he meant bastard, or one hell of a lucky guy.

Just going a bit offtopic about the secret menu, I wonder if there's more than one way to enable it. Initially dr1ft3r when you figured out the code to look for was 07 80 CA but its not the exact same for everybody else including myself. When I looked at mine I had 01 01 07 80 CA and found that I had 01 00 07 80 E2 which when I enabled it I could get the secret menu on mine. I haven't throughly tested out to see if the chat option works but I swear I saw it was working when I went into open lobby under label_lounge area.

If such were the case then I suppose instead of 07 80 CA to be the only one to search for maybe try enabling others one by one to see if you can get the chat to work even with secret menu enabled.

Back to the topic a little more, I guess certain limits are still hardcoded when the game was made and they seem to vary between the Japanese copy of GT5 (afaik) as opposed to the rest of the world. In the Japanese copy of GT5, one could see the maximum credits was something like You must login or register to view this content. but as a result of having higher credits to be allowed in the game, the price for the You must login or register to view this content. or You must login or register to view this content. that they purchase are significantly higher to match with the limit.
