(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi all, apologies if this has already been covered/asked. I'm sure most of us have fallen into the category of "I just spent $10 million on a Ferrari F1 car and I can't even use it!". Or maybe you thought the Kart special events were a cakewalk and you instead want to face off against proper cars like Elises or Corvettes?
Upon attempting to enter regular A-Spec/B-Spec events, you get slapped in the face with "You cannot participate in A-Spec/B-Spec events with a Racing Kart." or "Ferrari F1 can only be used for one-make race events for the Ferrari F1." Wouldn't it be nice to remove that pesky restriction that prevents you from using Karts and/or Ferrari F1s in regular A-Spec/B-Spec events? I'm sure all of us can agree that this would be nice to do.
Problem is, I'm not sure of where to even look in HxD. I've read up many a tutorial on hex editing, but not one covers anything about removing this stupid restriction. Is it possible to remove this restriction via hex editing?

Also, while we're at it... how about being able to use any car in any track???
I can unlock all tires for any car, but when I try to enter a snow track (for example) with a Camaro SS 10 (for example) with snow tires, it says NO CAN DO MY FRIEND :(
Any suggestions?

Do a barrel roll!
As far as I can tell, it is internal and so you shouldn't be able to change it... but i'll look into it anyway

Finally, someone with a good question! Thank you I have been wondering this too. Hopefully dr1ft3r will find the answer, I will check into this when I get home too.

It confuses me how both the Kart and Ferrari F1 can be used properly in seasonal events without any problems, but yet you can't use them in regular events. In the Ferrari's case it's properly got something to do with licensing issues, but the Kart has no excuse. It's not like you can be ejected off the Kart due to a collision with a full-size vehicle in this game. I'm assuming it's properly an additional offset that restricts the Karts and Ferrari F1s to one-make events.

Apologies for the double post, but I'm bumping this back to the first page. I feel that experienced HxD users can offer quite a great contribution to this thread.

I would speculate that this is because PD do not think it's "realistic" to race karts and cars on the same track. I know that I certainly wouldn't like to drive a kart on track against "regular" cars in a real life situation, for the obvious safety aspects... and so I think PD feel the same way for their game.
