Post: Will you be getting BF4 on current or next gen consoles?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Title says it all. I will be getting it on the PS4. I have a bad feeling it will be far more limited on current gen consoles than bf3 was in comparison to PCs. I think that on next gen consoles, BF4 will be almost, if not, exactly alike the PC version, disregarding obvious differences like community and controls.

EDIT: 2 things. Sorry for some many poll options but I wanted to cover all my bases. Also I am assuming BF4 will be on next gen consoles.
Finally I made the votes public so that when the game comes out, people can see who chose what and maybe hook up with em on release night.

RIP PICHU.
I'm getting Battlefield 4 for PS3. Not going to bother with the PS4 for another 3 years or so. The first models always have hardware issues are of the first versions of hardware to be made. They are likely to have glitches.

I'm definitely getting BF4, but I'm not sure what for. Most likely PS3, because I don't know if I'm going to get the PS4 as soon as it comes out. I might wait, for the next version of it to come out (like the PS3 Slim) or when the price of it goes down before I buy it.

Depends Smile

If you like Spec Ops mode and Zombies that CoD gives, than CoD would be for you

But if you want to play a more realistic FPS, where you can use vehicles (like jets, helicopters, tanks) and try loads of different guns, then BF would be a better choice Smile

However, a downside to BF (well BF3) is that it takes ages to level up.

They're both good games, but in my opinion I would go for BF.

Depending on what type of game you like. If you want a run and gun game, get CoD. If you like teamwork based gameplay, as well as kick ass vehicles, get battlefield.

That's a risk I'm willing to take.

I didn't say you need people, but its always fun with more people. More friends with mics = more communication. More communication = more intense gameplay. More intense gameplay = a shit ton of fun. So in the end, no you don't need to play with others, but it is always more fun. (I guess that applies to every game though)

both current and next gen for me, as i cant wait till next gen comes out so ill be getting on both and continue on PS4 when it gets out. i heard bf4 release date rumored on 29th of october( which is earlier than next gen arrival) so yeah lol.

Gamestop has the official release date for PS3 set at Oct 29. I was talking to the guy at gamestop and he said that we should watch E3 closely. That is most likely when EA will announce the PS4 version and possibly release date.

Today Will Be Different
I will get BF4 for the PC only because I built a PC awhile back that I game with. But I'll eventually get BF4 for the PS4 when it comes out, I'm just leery of new consoles. Mainly because of the same reasons that Pichu addressed, plus games on PC are more stable and if there is an issue a drive update for the video card you have solves he most common issues you see with new releases.

Plus I want to talk to my console buddies and see what their plans are. I've already had guys who pre-ordered BF4 for PS3 so I'm assuming that is what others are doing, but I could be entirely wrong.
