Im trying to get a tranny to be fully customizable. when i switch it outthe tranny will stick but when i go to customize it the game says its the standard tranny an obbviously you cant change anything on those. When i switch it to custom it resets to default. I know i can just set the ratios in the editor but i want to be able todoit in game also. so does anyone know how i can get a tranny to stick with being able to mess with it in game? Oh an i guess ill mention i have been able to do this in the past with a cuda using a 2D tranny it was a 3 speed fully customizable tranny. so Please help me out.

Also i apologise in advance if this has been cleared up in past threads. Just seemed to spacific to search.

You need to implement the FC transmission from the donor gearbox-car to add to your target car.
Currently I don't own that detailed information (yet)...

But if your a bit good with HEX...you can fiddle it out yourself

Oh alright i was using your program to try to do it actually because the Garage editor 1.1.2.a doesnt seem to want to change anything on my car lol. Ill look into this a little further. Thanks for the tip Luca. Oh an cant wait for the new program good luck with the last few touch ups.

Yeah my tool only installs default gearbox atm. Which isn't configurable in-game.

It might come, it might not....who knows

Thanks. An as we speak im working on it it doesnt seem all that confusing lol just have to buy thecustom tranny i want find out what the Hex value is for it then load the car i want in hxd an switch the two...i hope lol. Anim hoping it will come xD would be a great asset to the program lol.

Just thought id let you know i was able to get the custom tranny but instead of the 4 speed from the nascar i was going for, it gave me a 3 speed from god knows what lol. but i can go in an customize it an it only shows the 3 gears.
