it doesn't take rocket science to realize when there's friction against something, it creates heat..

Hey don't be jackasses, what if OP is just a young guy and doesn't know much like everybody else when they are young? The reason the breaks are 'red hot' is because when you're breaking at high speeds and you slam on your breaks the piston in the caliper pushes the break pads against the rotor. The break pads touch the rotors who are spinning very fast and trying to slow them down by 'closing in' on them. What you see is the rotor being so hot that you can actually 'see the heat' if you will.

He said they were glowing when he was just driving and not during braking. Also, its brakes not breaks, just a heads up. Happy

Don't like the brakes glowing? Take them off and see how you fare lol
