(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi all, ill apologise in advance for the long multi question post

I'm trying to do some editing in HxD, and none of the code im looking for is in the same place as the examples ive found on here, that isn't a problem it just means i have to do a bit more work and searching :-)

As an example of what i mean, the power multiplier for me shows up on 0000E990 line instead of on 0000E970, ive also found it on 0000E980, and sometimes not at all :-\ (obviously its still there just not sure where) Is this normal ?

Eg

0000E990 06 15 15 0B 0B 00 00 28 00 00 00 64 00 00 01 00 .......(...d....
0000E990 06 15 15 0B 0B 00 00 28 14 00 00 64 00 00 01 00 .......(...d....

I want to find a way to put a turbo on my lambo (amongst other projects),ive read a number of threads such as

turbo coding You must login or register to view this content.

How to make na cars turbo You must login or register to view this content.

Theres a good image of code that contains stuff like supercharger, turbo, exhaust and engine level, however as far as i can tell with my save data, my codes are in different spots.
This isn't a problem, it just means i need to find the other stuff im looking for as well, the question is once i find them (checking and rechecking saves after mods etc etc) will they stay in the same spot ? I was guessing they would but am unsure

The block of code in the image shown, is between 0000E7B0 and 0000E9B0, is this the area that all the performance parts are going to be located ? (trying to narrow the search field)

As far as finding body codes, will doing a body swap from a standard vehicle to a hybrid vehicle change that code only (using GT5 Editor & Hybrid creator) or is there other code that get changed ?
If thats not going to work, how about Race Modding a fully tuned car (Z06 or something). When the car is untuned i know it changes a bunch of stuff when you do the race mod, but i was thinking it might just change the body if the rest is already tuned (or i might be waaaaay offline LOL)

Ok thats enough for one post :-\

I will say, im not looking for someone to do it for me, just looking for a point in the right direction

Cheers

EDIT :- i dont know if it makes any difference but its a BCES00569-GAME game save

Cheers again

Maggbot timeout!
Don't look at the offset of your savegame. This can differ from time to time and can differ from images posted here.
You see often that people post images where they mark "Engine mulitplier" or "Paint" as reference. It's not there for nothing!
That is your key to find your wanted position...start there and count towards your target spot to edit.

Hope this helps a bit!

Cheers

lots of ppl clearly lack the navigational skills of Christopher Columbus and thus lost in the vast sea of hex codes forever
