yep i got banned this after noon no reason y i havnt even used my hacked cars in a lobby.....

I was playing online in some lobbies with realistic hybrids (only stance mods) tonight from around 8-10 p.m and i haven't been banned for shit. I guess the key is to not go into seasonal events and time trials. If it weren't for all those 11 year olds with 20'000 horsepower Civics setting ridiculous lap times PD would have never gotten wind of this.

You can use hacked cars all you want to race in A-Spec or B-Spec. But going in to seasonal online events with hacked cars is almost surely gonna get you banned. But online free roam messing around in lobbies seems to be no problem.

This was my exact thought too - don't bother entering time/drift trials (or any mode with a global leaderboard) with a modded car or you have a HIGH risk of being banned.

Someone could probably test it though, seeing as it's probably account-only (unlike Forza banning your whole console). Just create a dummy account, mod a car, enter it in a time/drift trial and see what happens.

Speaking of Forza...
I once had a credit mod on my otherwise legit account just to go in to the storefront and buy some liveries (not even Cars!) And it's funny because i didn't make the game any less fun to anyone, while all the real hackers, i.e jtaggers and such aren't getting banned at all.

Long story short, The next day I see a message telling me I am now console banned for life but weirldy only the storefront doesnt work fo me. Online racing and lobbies work just fine. Got to keep the credits tho
