Thank you though for your reply much appreciated.
Oh, most definitely. COD in my opinion is a bit of a rush in the sense of gameplay and feeling. I have to give credit to it.
Battlefield, you can take a relaxed approach to the game while still playing in a rushed fashion.
Both games are different, they appeal to different crowds of people. I've played COD since COD 1 and have been playing online since COD 2 ... (I did it on PC)
Battlefield has a feeling of more realism, it's something that you have to appreciate and get used to. I think that's part of why it appeals to more adults and older teens because we like realism.
COD lacks that aspect in many degrees. It though does follow the idea of war and creates an easy to play bases that almost anyone, young and old, can grasp onto. Something that Battlefield actually lacks.
I feel though that COD just is too rushed and has too many problems with it. If they would create larger maps or maps with more vertical aspects to compensate for the small size of maps, that would fix some of the issues. Respawning needs to be fixed. Easy solution, 2-3 areas where players can spawn onto where enemies can't run into and players only spawn there at random if an enemy is near or at a middle spawn point int the game already.
That would kill most spawn camping and fix the whole, spawn in front of enemies and die issue.
The storyline is great for COD games, I love them. Battlefield 3, I haven't finished it still; an I've owned it for several months.. I have to say it just hasn't grasped my interest.
