Post: Ban test

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); As far as we have seen, it's just been people who use their hacks on Seasonal events, mainly the time/drift trials and also accessing the developers menu and tweaking their name and flag. Otherwise other people that have been using them away from the seasonal events have been fine.

SO I have decided to test this. I set up a dummy account with a 2,xxx,xxx hp X1, did every time and drift trial available as of 2/1/2013 (Drift with a modified R34 with Z06 drivetrain). I woke up this morning not able to access any online capabilities on that account. I switched back to my primary account and it is still absolutely fine and working.

Update!

Here are some results I have from some other tests I have conducted

1.Red Bull X2010 Prototype 2,000,000hp. Raced various seasonal event races possible.Account Status: NOT BANNED
2.Used secret menu to change/alter my guest name and flag. Account Status:BANNED
3.Redbull X2010 Prototype 2,000,000hp. Raced seasonal time trials, golded all. Account Status: BANNED
4.Hacked Nissan R34 w/Z06 drivetrain, no Wing, Lowered. Did various drift trials. Account Status:BANNED

*NOTICE Any listed as "Not Banned" could be subject to change at anytime. Continue hacking at your own risk, and remember if you do, ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP! I will keep you all constantly updated. If you would like me to conduct any others tests with the new ban system, please let me know!

Cheers guys! :y:

Thanks for the test!
It would be great if somebody could test the same thing, but with a borrowed hybrid. I would do it, if my PS3 would work ...

Maggbot timeout!
I tell you, you only get banned when you "cheat"...online.

Yeah cheating is cheating no other way at looking at it.:(

But in all honesty I think PD will not just do it overnight, It will take action over a few weeks.
So by just going online for a couple of nights with a few dodgy cars or doing something else in regards to thinking you will get banned maybe simply the start of it, Do it more regulary and then they may take action?

You don,t go to jail for stealing a penny chew but once you get in to crime it escalates and the punishment gets worse.Happy
But hey thats my thoughts and opinions.

I play online with hybrids frequently, granted they are realistically modified (My most used 650hp FR-S) but I'm still running fine on my primary, even though people get butthurt over it all the time! Best part is that FR-S is just as good as everything around it, and doesn't always win or whatnot, it competes perfectly and people still get bent out of shape over it. I've entered many races and only won a handful of times in it. Don't understand why diversity pisses people off so much. It's a shame, really.

Anyone else tried the same?

you mean you just play the online seasonal event (which is one player with AI) , earning Cr, and you got banned ?

or you did time trail as well?

some says if you not to touch those Time trial and drift , are still okay to play on seasonal.....???

That's the exact same question I was asking myself (and I think I posted it somewhere, not sure though). I'm not sure about the AI Seasonal Events, but as you said, you'll get banned for sure if you participate in the Time Trial and Drift events (if everything I read is true).

I been doing seasonal drift event pretty much every day with a hacked drift car i made and im still able to log in.. no crazy horsepower in it, just a chassis swap and wing removed...

Sorry, should have clarified. It's the trials that I did, not the races. And I did the drift trials with a Modified R34 Skyline.
