Long ago we spoke (Orchestra) ... I'm also still missing a few replicas from including the new ones.

Every GT5.* file has a max length, as long as you stay inside the limit, you can insert characters.
Once passed the limit, you need to move the characters to the next file
But if you don't have a "next" file available, your screwed, the SFO registers which files there are....
And manipulating those, is not yet a solved issue!
Easiest solution would be decrypt all your GT5 files, merge them together, alter all names.
Split them up again and encrypt
