Blame those cheap people who weren't trying to pay for DLC but trying to get it for free. If PD really had a problem with the modding they would've stopped it when the civic came out. But it got out of hand and people started doing stuff PD didn't want them to do. I'm still getting GT6 I'm not letting some immature kids who ruined the modding of GT5 determine if I will get GT6 or not. Move on life isn't over there are plenty of other games out there. Just remember not all great things last forever.

It's not the crazy hp cars, that may have been a tiny percent of it. It was people trying to get DLC for free. When you start messing with their money is when you cross the line. Chrome line cars, DLC cars, tracks, DLC paints, suits and helmets. I seen multiple post about hexing to get the DLC for free. So thank the people who were to cheap to buy it. If they would've just left it at modding cars i think we would still be able to mod now.

GT5 Modding was a great thing that could've been adapted to the game with certain limits whatsoever. I hope that PD takes note on what we did here, because it had no boundaries for fun on certain moments. I hope they know how much fun this "Hybrid era" was... And it didnt have to end, it was all doing great...

HP cap on all events and default power caps on rooms.

@littlejohn007 shure its the overpowered cars because they fixed this the DLC things are not fixed up to now so your thinking is wrong.
They have many many requests about the silly things going on the servers so they fixed first the easy way to get 50000Hp.

So you're telling me they didn't care that people were basically stealing from them and they were more worried about these immature kids online? I highly doubt that.

I think they just wanted to shut down the whole hybrid thing in general. They didn't like ppl ruining their servers by crashing them, stealing DLC, or using ridiculously high hp cars. Also, why do you assume that little kids are the only ones who use high hp cars? While I agree that a lot of younger kids don't understand their impact when using high hp cars, I saw many 30 year old and older ppl using high hp cars too. Stop blaming little kids, start blames morons that can't handle the situation.
