But it got out of hand and people started doing stuff PD didn't want them to do. I'm still getting GT6 I'm not letting some immature kids who ruined the modding of GT5 determine if I will get GT6 or not. Move on life isn't over there are plenty of other games out there. Just remember not all great things last forever.

I was happy to find out I could accurately mimic the handling and drivetrain characteristics of my own real life vehicle.

Unfortunately I no longer have possession of the pants mobile due to PD's patch. I guess there is an issue with modifying data, but all I did was make a vehicle slower in every aspect, not add 1,000,000 BHP.

This game of chess with PD will get interesting once we rediscover a method. Until then it's back to the shelf with GT5, as it collects dust for my ant experiment.

PD should have let us continue hacking, all they should've done in this maintenance was delete our hacked cars with 500,000+HP and limit the HP to 400-500,000HP so these 'little kids' dont make these high HP cars and come online with them to show them off. so yea, its not PD's fault, they saw a lot of reports coming in from people reporting other people so they probably were frustrated and had to put a stop to this

I agree they should've made like a 2000hp limit. But the worst part is why take the slammed cars? Like the slammed cars didn't do anything that's what pisses me off the most.

no around 5000hp because my bugatti with twin altra turbos and other secret parts no multiplyers only secret parts and a supra twin altra turbos it had 3,255hp and same things on my viper it had 2,220hp which bolth are somewhat relistic

The OP is correct. Modding allows users to access cars that were normally locked out because of a special purchase (like chrome line). When modding was costing them money, or the potential for money, it was stopped.

I think it will be stopped because a lot of players where angry when they make a race and people came with a cart with 90000HP and other silly things like making Timetrails and driftraces with overpowered Mods read GT5 "normal" Forums you see whats going on.
Many Players where not amused about this "crazy" Moddings and they write to PD.
