Pretty much this. The Garage Editor categorizes them into HYBRID so you can refer to your modified cars in a quick and easy manner.

Hence why I use Luca's tool for editing cars, and Slim's for tickets and renames.

Actually is a legit question. By making the country Hybrid, it prevents you from using those cars in country specific a spec/b spec races. If you have not updated to 2.12, it seriously cuts down on what you can do with your hybrids.

Maybe but only country restricted races that's all, it by no means seriously cuts down on what you can do with them. I've been offline for a while and honestly never been an issue. In the end have you tested to see if it actually restricts them or its just a different name in your garage?

Well I just checked, and my HYBRID had no issue getting into a Japan Race, its a 73 Skyline with a RB26DETT swap and ATTESA conversion. I then trien the AmericanCar race and it was a no go, just as I suspected

1) Its just in the garage thats its a ""Hybrid"" dont make no other difference but organizational.

2) You didnt check as I suspected and crap talked about it restricting the use of the hybrid.... LAME!

You can always build them in HxD or with GE if yah don't like it

Actually I did check it out before I posted and it is not working for me. None of the cars I tried have engine swaps, some are only painted.
