(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i was still hanging on to 2.11 for a while I decided, ah what's the point don't think we can do hybrids again so, updated to 2.12 and went online. Was curious to see how my previously modded would turn out after the resets, so entered a room with my R33 which previously had a max hp GTR Black engine, slightly increased grip level and weight maxed at 3tons. When i first entered the room, the car was really back to normal... so went back to the garage to upgrade whatever that had not been upgraded, went back into the track and for some strange reason, at the pit lane my car was bouncing a little. Drove around and i was going on 2 wheels everytime i did a turn. pretty undriveable. The horsepower was normal, the weight indicated in the garage was showing correct values, but yet the car felt like it had excessive grip . Couldn't even get the tires spinning with 600hp and 90:10 drive. The next room i joined entered the track and immediately instead of slowly leaving the pit lane, i end up at the starting point. :blank:

I had another previously hacked car, a Prowler with X1 engine, chassis everything etc.... grip was previously set at high level around 220 via Garage editor and weighed 545kg with 200kg ballast. Was trying to turn it into sometime like that lightspeed swimmwagen you see here and there but anyway..... used that, entered the room and my front was continuously jumping everywhere i go. had hard comfort tires and soft racing behind. This was the exact same thing i had during 2.11, i was experimenting with some 4WD SUV with X1 chassis and grip levels set real high. Can't exactly remember what I did but i made it such that it was even bouncing around at the vehicle selection screen in the Garage.

I had some other cars with modified grip levels have yet to test them out.... so, you guys think we can maybe still play with the grip levels in 2.12? just a thought to share

Misslehead
Do a barrel roll!
Probably, it seems that PD only switched the car data back to normal. Grip isn't included into that so it is independent. So in short, yes you can probably still change a car's grip.
