Here is a working 1.5.1 dupe for you all to enjoy - It is based upon the previous method using minecart chests and nether portals.

This method requires two people and a client with freecam.

The two players are referred to as Player A and Player B.

1) Create a large rail track that extends past the viewable distance. (This will depend on the servers view distance. On most servers at least 100 blocks should be long enough)

2) Place a minecart chest at the start of the track and fill it with the items you wish to dupe.

3) Player A needs to go into freecam and open the minecart chest and needs to keep it open.

4) Player B needs to push the minecart to end of the track and then logout.

5) Player A, whilst still in freecam then needs to take the items out of the minecart chest.

6) Player B can now log back in and the items will still be in the minecart chest at the end of the track.

Both Player A and Player B now have the items.
