And to find if you can downgrade you system

Please download the following file and create a folder on the USB stick called "PS3", inside that folder create another one called "UPDATE" and finally on that folder you place the file you just downloaded, you can see a diagram of how its supposed to be.

/Root of the usb stick
->PS3
-> UPDATE
PS3UPDATE.PUP
Once you have done this, insert the USB stick into your PS3, turn it on, and navigate to settings and click the update setting, then check via internal storage then install it.

on eaby there's a down grade service you could try that but your still best off having two ps3's 1xjb 1x4.41 so you can data transfer
