my question is if i get a cfw ps3 and xbox will i be able to play online, and instal my games on the systems? this would be nice so my discs dont slowly get scratchd up..... and if so is there a place to buy cfw systems
as i do not have the knoledge on puting together one

You're talking about dual nand. That's on Xbox 360 (depending on which chip your hacked 360 has installed). There are two modes. There's retail, which is like a regular 360 (meaning yhat you can go online, but no hacks or backups). Then there's freeboot (the hached dash. No online, but you can use hacks and play backups).
