That's what mods (except cod lol) are meant to be for, having fun with other people as well as yourself and experiencing something different from what can normally be achieved, I have a mate who came over my house, and I data transferred over the same mods as I use for GTA IV, he got banned because he used them for his own satisfaction, but I've been using them for well over twice as long and I'm perfectly fine, just don't be a dick when using the mods and it should be better for you lol If you piss off people, they report you - you get banned.

maybe the account, but not the whole console and all accounts on that console. without a cfw, I cant believe that.
my main account got banned, I rebuild my trophies now on new account and decided to modd gta only with my ofw console.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention only his account got banned and it was only for a month, but if you do use CFW online then that's just asking to get banned lol

you wont get banned just for other players reporting ya as then anybody could report anyone for modding when there not just to get em banned.it's more likely your mate sent someone an abusive message then they got reported and banned.

Doesn't seem like him, I mean... Why would you send an abusive message when you have mods and other people don't? :L Ah anyway I don't know why he got banned, I just know that he did for a month (on 1 account) that's some pretty weird shit.

yeah it's happened to me you always get someone wether they mod or not send you an abusive message calling a member of your family or something like that then when you reply with some abuse of your own they report ya and you get banned.my ban was about a month on just that one account

i agree, i just don't message them back lol. my friend has been banned loads of times and all he plays is GTA he got grief reported.
