1. Bypassing the patch - Using the EliteMossy patch blocker when you bypass the patch you find yourself among only other players that have done the same.

2. Software like XLink Kai - XLink Kai uses the LAN to create an online community but fools the playstation to thinking everyone is on the same internet connection. Since there is no LAN option it's not possible for Gran Turismo, perhaps there's some other kind of software one of you may have come across.

Please post any other ideas below. If we had a community that could mod on 2.11 and play together everyone would be way happier! :p

I've tried bypassing this game a good while back when I didn't wanna update because of the massive patch (2.0) and it doesn't connect to the servers :|

PD seems to be anal on who they allow to connect onto their network. I just tried to do that modded comment thing on PSN where you can be online but appear, to everyone else, as offline and it would not allow me to connect to the PD servers. This same way allows me to connect to any COD game while appearing offline on PSN.

Ahh damn. This blows.



I'm starting to think some software like XLink Kai might hold the key.

When 2.12 arrived,

I've tried modding the 2.11 eboot, to appear as 2.12.
~Would not connect to PD server.

Also tried modding the 2.12 eboot, to eliminate the check for a modified car.
~Also would not connect to PD server for me :'(

I wasn't too concerned with going online so haven't tried anything since.

I can't think of any reason to play if I can't go online. I personally hate games that aren't multiplayer. That's just my opinion though. :p

All good efforts mate! I really don't know what else to think of. I don't care about playing with the legitimate PD online community, I just want to be able to play with a community if you get what I mean.
