Before I begin, this review is not suppose to be full out serious, I like to make things funny as well as speak the truth.

The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct review:

Publisher: Activision
Developer: Terminal Reality
Kenny's Rating: 6.5 / 10 Stars

Introduction:

Daryl Dixon, the main character of the game is out hunting with his dad and uncle whenever something unexpected happens, a zombie apocalypse has begun and Daryl is on a search for his brother Merle to survive against the undead.

Controls:

LT – Aim
LB – N/A
RT – Fire
RB – Shove
Left Stick – Move/Sprint
Right Stick – Look
Y – Change Weapon
X – Action/Reload
B – Crouch
A – Jump
D-pad (up) – Food
D-pad (left) – Glass Bottle
D-pad (down) – Sports Drink
D-pad (right) – Flare
Select – Inventory
Start – Pause

Controls are kind of like COD's.

Gameplay:

The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is supposed to be the Dixon brothers adventure before they met up with the others when the apocalypse first began, but with the amount of zombies that come after you in some of these missions feel like its been a year if not more when it started. The game has quite a few bugs but you can easily get used to them. I do not recommend re-beating the game 3 times due to boredom unless you really enjoy the game. Don't get me wrong I find it amusing its just VERY repeating.

Graphics:

I'm going to keep this short and sweet, I thought I was playing a game on my PlayStation 2.

Graphics Rating: 2 / 10 Stars

Difficulty:

The first time playing is always hard but this game is easy to get used to which is a good, and bad thing.

The pros to it becoming easy:

  • Trick your friends into think you're a boss.

The cons of it becoming easy:

  • Becomes repetitive.
  • Becomes highly boring.
  • Repetitive and boring. (Oh the irony.)

Overall Rating 6.5 / 10 Stars on the Kenny Scale.
