You talkin to me?
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So here is long waited bypass, but be aware that everything doesn't work like it was on 2.11.
1. Decrypt your save
2. Open GT5.0 file with HxD
3. Search your psn with text-string
4. Find long FF line like shown in picture (Code is different in different cars)
5. Change first FF to 74 (Others than 74 may work too but that just sound cool)
6. Save and Encrypt your save.
7. Open garage editor and do your 2.14 hybrid and enjoy Smile

You must login or register to view this content.
After changing that from your current car, you can edit your car what ever you like.
Body, chasis, engine swaps and wing removing is easily doable with garage editor Smile

"Thanks to You must login or register to view this content. How to" Smile

Shortly you need just change First FF to 74 to get editors work again Yes
So remember change that one hex to get these editors work on 2.14 Smile
Remember these editors are made work on 2.11 so everything may not work like it was.

Available editors:Garage editor 1.5 (Edits your current car)

GT5 Garage Editor v1.3.1 (Good to add hidden parts)

Feel free post what works and what not.

You must login or register to view this content.

Works like 2.11
1.All part swaps Engine, chasis etc.
2.Drivetrain swaps.
3.Hidden parts.
4.Downforce
5.Transmission swap atleast when done like You must login or register to view this content.or You must login or register to view this content.

Do not work or glitched.
1.Slamming from rideheight
2.Changing wrong gearbox causes car jumping
3. HP multiplier
4.Grip multiplier

And yes eliteFleet my Hxd stays fucked\retarded...

First off a giant thank you to JK83 and Razerman for sharing this information with us, had I known how to "thank" here on the forum, I'd have done it on day one!

Anyway, after modding about 20 cars thus far, I've run into several problems/issues I hope either you guys, or the rest of the community can help me with:

1. When swapping in a chassis it would appear as if you inherit the associated downforce from the donor car, is there any way to edit/modify these values (in my case to remove)?

2. When swapping in suspension you (obviously) get the values associated with the original car, is there any way to further modify this? (I'm using Ferrari F10 suspension to slam my rides, but the springs always end up way too stiff, even at their lowest setting).

3. I can successfully do a drivetrain swap, but it seems as if the general handling characteristics of the original drivetrain-layout remains. In an older thread it was stated that this value was inherited from the engine, but even after swapping in engines from FR cars, my x-FF (in particular) and x-4wd cars still feel the same. Help?!

There you have it, I've read and searched countless threads without luck, but can of course have missed something obvious Smile

Thanks again for sharing guys, had I not lacked the required "plumbing", and had my wife been as enthused about modding as I am, I'd definitely have your babies! Awesome face

1. Yes! I can't remember where the offset is in HxD, but you can edit downforce with luka's tool by just putting 0 in the downforce boxes. LINK: You must login or register to view this content.

2. I'm having the same problem, you should try the RE Amemiya FD3S, it goes down to about 11 or 12 kg, even though I've got used to those rates now I could still do with the option of having them lower. Try find a car that sits low naturally and also has lower spring rates, then try the suspension from that.

3. The handling characteristics are heavily dependant on the chassis, not so much the drivetrain. For instance putting a RWD drivetrain on an R34 skyline, it will still feel like a R34, just with all the power going to the back wheels. General handling is not inherited by an engine haha, whoever said that needs their noggin checked.

1. Heh, I played around with adjusting downforce in the editor(s), but must've messed up as I felt no difference in-game. Will try again now though :embarrassed:Facepalm

2. Aye, I've been using the F10 chassis to slam and it has about the same springrates, will look around for more alternatives though.

3. Hehe, I probably misunderstood and misquoted what I first read, but it's great to see it debunked either way!

Anyway, thanks a bunch for the feedback mate, with renewed faith in removing downforce inherited from a chassis, I'll have more options when trying to get a car "just right" Happy

*edit*

I wasn't swapping suspension, I used HXD for it.

*edit*
One question, Can I edit any car in my garage now with the FF > 74 or do I have to get a stock car and do it all in hxd each time?

you have to repeat the proces for every car you want to mod

1; you can modify downforce in game after chassisswap
2; same like for the chassis!
3; it's the engine that will dictated how a car handels, not the drivetrain. put a MR engine in a FR car and your car will handle like a MR car

btw; did even whent to carsettings before posting this?

1. Thank you for confirming Smile

2. Cool, I've been trying this in slims editor (without perceived success), but will try in lucas' as well now

3. Ok, this is what I initially referred to, have tried without success, and am now confused about again Eek

Btw; yes of course I did Don, your stature here precludes a more snide/satirical reply :wag:

Anyway, thanks for the answers, I appreciate it Smile

Somehow my first reply got lost or delayed, so until it resurfaces I just wanted to thank you for your reply, it gave me new hope to which Don contributed further Smile

Hi all Awesome face
Thanks JK for making this happen Claps
I have a question,
What I need to do if I decided to update without losing my 100 or so hybrids in my garage ?
Do I still need to change that FF to 74 thingy to all the cars I wanna keep, without re-making them ?

Thanks and Cheers Outie
