(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a friend on GT5 who got his NASCAR to 1320 hp and only 618 performance points. However, I am trying to figure out the setup and I can't figure it out. I have tried GT5 Hybrid editor, Bruteforce/HXD and GT5 Garage Editor for the NASCAR and I still can't get the horsepower to go up on a NASCAR. My question is, how do you get a NASCAR to get around 1300-1500 HP?

Swap in parts ,exhaust, intake, air filter, etc. I use Slim's tool and you can view one of the cars you've added the upgraded parts to for the codes. I did the engine upgrade swap and it changed my rev counter might have been a fluke since I only did it once but you can get up to 1600hp with just regular parts and stage 3 turbo.

What I need help is with a Dirty Nascar tune. Something that can take a beating and have cars bounce right off :vince:, still be fast even in the corners. I made a 1600 hp AWD Nascar with downforce 150 front 170 rear. Can't do more than 180 in the corners. Made a RWD version of it and same effect.

Thanks for your response! Just curious, what would be a good car or cars to swap parts with?

I tried to swap the Red Bull's engine, drivetrain, exhaust and turbo to my NASCAR and so far I am still getting the same horsepower as I have before.

Don't do that. They notice the sound of the engine, you'll be kicked before the 3rd lap. Keep the original engine.

Ok. Thanks for the info! I will try to use the Honda DC5 to edit the exhaust, turbo and air filter. Sorry for being me being like this, this is the first time I have tried to swap parts from another car using GT5 Garage Editor.

In addition, is there a way to add a air filter or a supercharger to a NASCAR using the editor?

Yeah if you're using Slim's 1.3.1 just fill in the tabs with values from a car you've upgraded.
