(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); As the title says, I am going to be working on a guide for the Car Available function on the GT5 Garage Editor version 1.3.1

As far as I know, this controls what cars appear in the new car dealer. Changing this correctly could mean we could have all premium cars, to buy, in the dealer. Including the likes of cars like the Red Bull X2010 5G...

Here are the first test results!

0 - Removes the Red Bull X2010 for purchase. Nothing Elce
2 - Stock. Completely normal
3 - Nothing added or removed from NCD
4 - Same as 0
5 - Same as 0
6 - Nothing added or removed from NCD
8 - Nothing added or removed from NCD
10 - Same as 0
11 - Same as 0
255 - Nothing added or removed from NCD

Now I am still working on this, and I am doing this all by myself and its a pretty boring thing to do if im honest :P But I just hope that I get something out of this, for the whole community's benefit!

Cheers!

What if i were to acquire a red bull g5. Would I be able to do the seasonal events with it? Assuming that I tune the car accordingly??

I wouldn't use it for the time/drift events as that'll almost be a guaranteed ban from GT5 online from what I've heard. Using it in the other seasonal events would be fine.

and that is what i did I went for a stroll through some seasonals, but I do not like what they did with the g5...

they have amputated 75% of the engine

cool car to have, but even at full power, it's not the feeling of the real x2010Shiver

Good luck figuring this out ! Would be cool to know exactly whats happening.

I would say.. have a look for the car available value in hex.
And try change the values by byte - I have a hunch the number is a bit-field or byte-field?? Gasp
Certain bits or bytes are turning on/off stuff.

The mighty sorg posted a pic of the 5G in the dealership, I imagine it was by editing the 'car available' value

I sure hope it was by the car available value :P Otherwise I have no idea what to do :P I will have a look around in hex Friday, but for today and tomorrow, I am going to do more testing with the editor. Lets hope we find something good Magglass1
