Post: Add brake controller?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I'm back to making shifter karts for some karting buddies and have a great setup. The only thing I would like to add now is a brake controller. I added the brake controller to my items list but when I choose it, it says the kart is already equipped with it!?! Is it possible/feasible to have it show up in the tune menu? I've studied the hex and compared a kart with a few completely stock cars and can't find any major differences that indicate a brake controller. I've put different brake codes on a kart and that didn't seem to make a difference either. Any ideas?

Here is a picture of the hex for a stock Suzuki Capuccino without and with the brake controller added. I've changed all 3 values individually on a kart with no luck.

Can’t trickshot me!
afair, the only brake controller I've ever seen in Savegames were 0x4a5 and 0x4a6 (although quite rare).

I don't know better right now, but I could imagine GT5 only knows about these two. Have you ever seen a working brake controller with different values?

I have not. I'd just like to be able to adjust the brakes in game.

Red one at the top is the one that defines it as bought in the list(Settings Sheet).
Blue in the middle is the actual part code(The one it's using at the moment).
Green at the bottom is the brake balance values.

My PDI kart had these:
Red = 82
Blue = 000004A6
Green = 05 05(5 & 5)

You could try to change 82 on FF and see what happends but I don't think it does anything. Kart just isn't meant to have changeable brake balance. I guess it's the same as with Torque Split for other than 4WD cars you can't see it in settings but you were able to change them throught RA menu. Maybe it's possible for kart also? If not before, maybe after changing the codes? Go and find out Smile
