(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright, I just wanted to clear up some things because I have been seeing a few threads lately about this. Battlefield 4 DOES NOT support any mods. Before the game released, DICE stated that the Frostbite engine is very complex, and does not have the right tools for modding, nor did they consider making it in the first place. You can read it here.

As for modding online on consoles? That is also a no. Nearly everything Battlefield 4's multiplayer is server-based, so even if you did manage to mod online, you would get shafted immediately by the server-side checks and banned within minutes.

I hoped this answered some questions on this subject.

It's due to the game having a couple different engines running, giving that away is something DICE can't do :p
People have been able to mod the game in a basic fashion with FOV mods on console.
Sure you can do other things too on console on PC you can do some fun stuff with client side hit detection.
