It's a shame it's those hacks. I guess you gotta start somewhere though. I can't wait for this to be released so I can use my chassis and engine swaps again :3 I missed my stanced cars haha.

Yes it was unrealistic cars, but hacked car is always car...Always better, funnyier than PD's original cars

There will always be haters , If PD would just allow engine swaps ,and other things that the other racing games have had they might not have as big as problem ,they promised alot of things in GT6 and have yet to deliver them, The cat will be let out of the bag soon enough .

If they did all the stuff that other games have (for example, Forza), and then adding other things like the ability to offset wheels and/or having stance/slammed suspension packs that would be above and beyond any console game (I would say PC too but I don't know how everything works in those). No console game so far has given you the chance to stance cars or slam them, so just having that would put GT on top.

How long until we can make realistic hybrids for single player/hackers-only online lobbies? I just really want to have my LS7 RX7 already... I dont even mean a garage editor program, as long as the save gets fully decrypted then I can fiddle around with stuff in HEX.

My guess, it will take some time before any external tool comes available.
There is currently one person that claims to have decrypted everything, but from experience, that person is somewhat unreliable.

Personally I hope it will take at least another half a year to a year before editors come.
Give PD the time to finalize their game with all the features they promised

Yea you're right, I can wait. In the mean time I'm hacking thru all of GT5 1.0.5. I've found a few interesting things here and there with the raw HEX code, but I think I could do more with a garage editor. Is it possible for you to give me a link to an old version of your garage editor program? A version that would work with 1.0.5 saves. Thanks Luca!

I haven't touched GT5/Editor in months, so I'm for sure not sure if any of the editors would work.
But you can easily find the older versions, as many people on youtube posted download links...
