(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); In BF3 you were able to invite players and then go find a server and they would follow you into that server and you guys would be on the same team and squad. Now on BF4 you have to see if there's any open spots on your friends server then join him, and even if there is you might join the opposite team. I heard Dice is testing platoons but I have no clue what that is. If they bring back this feature of inviting friends that would be awesome. What do you guys think? P.s if they could fix the net code too Smile

I was wondering about this too. They had this feature back in bfbc2 so I don't understand why they got rid of it. It makes trying to party up a bitch so I hope the platoons is like that

Based on how the matchmaking works, along with the design choice of battlelog. It appears it was too hard to make it work within the frame of the game.
I wish they would have a lobby based system which helped you find a server problem was that rather hard to code for and take into account a couple factors.
Or could been they ran out of time or did not feel it was needed.

Definitely need a squad option before finding a game, but I like how it is automatic and switched players around. Would be better if they done both.

Even indie games have a party system. And they released a broken game to begin with. Saying they didn't have enough time is a terrible excuse.
If they truly felt that a party system was not needed, than they need to get a new guy in charge because what idiot thinks that a multiplayer game doesn't need a party system?

Limited time frame and limited resources you have a choice what you put into the game and what gets cut.
I think it was due to adding battlelog into the game why it was never added. Not sure it was a success or a good idea.

Are a couple things I would change myself Smile
Party system is one not sure how to make a party system and add battlelog into the game, could used the UI of battlelog and never forced you to sign up.
