Just a simple tool to let us do what PD chose to limit for some unknown reason. CFW is required.

Instructions:

1. Make a backup of your save.
   
2. Load GT6 on your PS3.
   
3. Select CCAPI or TMAPI.
   
4. Click the connect button. (Enter IP of PS3 if CCAPI is selected)
   
5. Check that the text boxes filled in correctly.
   
6. If the boxes failed to populate correctly go to 'Stats' in game and click on refresh in tool.
   
7. Set the names you wish to use in the tool.
   
8. Click on the Save buttons.
   
9. Do something in game that causes the 'Saving data..' message to pop up.
   
10. Disconnect and exit the GT6 Name Changer.
    

Important note: Do NOT save if the names did not load in correctly.

Hey bud i know you merged this to your 1.06 tool but for some reason i can't seem to change a psn name like a locked save to my psn :confused: everything else works minus that credits work like a charm and so on.
if you got a second to maybe help me out or maybe another way of accessing it
would be very much appreciated my friend.

I'm also not able to change the PSN for the save. I think they started banning people with modded cars since my friends who didn't have them can get online but I can't.

Use the tool that is stickied. This tool has not been updated in quite some time because it was added to the other tool. I am currently fixing the other one for 1.16 so don't update from 1.15 if you want to use it. I expect I should have the other one fixed for 1.16 by tomorrow nite.
