The ban is an account ban on the GT6 servers only. It is not a console ban.

Logging on with a new save will not prevent the ban even if you were previously not banned the last time you used a modded save. Bans occurred while offline.

A new account and save will allow you to play online.


What needs to be determined.

Did money only hacks get banned?
Any bans to people that did not play in online lobbies?
Anyone not banned that did play in an online lobby?

If you are not banned and have modded what mods have you done?
Where you connected to the GT servers when making changes?

From the reports I have seen only those that used hybrids in online lobbies and got reported are banned.

i've never been online but i used a gamesave with all cars and 50 000 000 credits and i also used a tool to get full credits on my second account. just went on and im good for now

Anything I could I do I did, Money, Tires, Grip, HP. My CFW is not banned, but it does not go online. I resign the saves to my OFW console and it is not banned yet as of either. But i stay out of public lobbies with modded cars.

Only people that got reported were banned. Stop ruining other peoples lobbies! Unfortunately I got reported lots of times and in my own lobby too! So make them private and don't bring a X1 to a kart race.

I only made cars to drift,, and kept them in private lobbies amungst friends.

I never used my single mod in any lobby or race. Only in test drive. I think it may be a top speed thing? I have money mod on another and it is still fine and hope it stays that way with 150 hours racing.

One of my friends was playing single player only with hacked vehicles, and he got banned.

Guess they're also checking the stats.
