The ban is an account ban on the GT6 servers only. It is not a console ban.

Logging on with a new save will not prevent the ban even if you were previously not banned the last time you used a modded save. Bans occurred while offline.

A new account and save will allow you to play online.


What needs to be determined.

Did money only hacks get banned?
Any bans to people that did not play in online lobbies?
Anyone not banned that did play in an online lobby?

If you are not banned and have modded what mods have you done?
Where you connected to the GT servers when making changes?

From the reports I have seen only those that used hybrids in online lobbies and got reported are banned.

OFW PS3. Save is modded from CFW PS3.

Seems like the CFW PS3's are banned from the servers though.

I have a friend who I did some cars for and he is still able to play online.
I have another friend who had just money modding and he is also getting this error.

I only played online with OFW PS3 with a modded save (my friends too) and we are all getting this error.

Just took look on my couple accounts and none is banned.

Yes couple times, but only with friends to avoid my psn going youtube vids with hacked car\getting reported.
My PSN ended on GT5 one youtube vid and got banned pretty quick Lol


If you are not banned and have modded what mods have you done?
Everything what is here public known and couple other things.

I use GT6 DUPLEX on my CFW ps3 and all patches downloaded .pkg files so none trought GT servers, never been on logged in PSN whit that console.
I mod with my CFW PS3 and resign saves to my OFW which I use playing, but I know atleast one guy with OFW who has resigned save and account is banned\get that error.

Confused. In one post you said you were banned and in the next you say you were not?

2 PS3s, one OFW one CFW. The CFW has never been online or even connected to the internet (therefore it isn't banned). The OFW is the one I used the saves on and that one got banned. I resign my save, move it to the CFW PS3 and mod it, then move it back to my OFW. Like what JK83 said he does.

Im damn sure only who get banned, messed on public rooms.

I used public cruise lobbies mainly, so people probably reported me. Eh, I got my save fixed as well as my friends, so I'm just staying in private lobbies with them now haha.

Just goin' to unban myself, delete all my cars and i'm good. Anyway i don't care about hacked cars, i was still driving around in my civic and my R32.
