The only difference between the connection routines are a pop up in CC forcing you to enter your IP every time and the ability to remember the IP in GT6HE. Did you enter your PS3's IP in the box before clicking on 'Connect'?

I got same issue

PC and ps3 connected with console manager

GT6 running at main menu

GT6HE

Type my 10.1.1.2 PS3ip in box

CC checked

Hit connect

Error "Failed to connect"

The GT6 Tool I put the same ip and nothing happens when I try to connect.

Just might be a stupid idea but y'all who are having issues try rebooting your ps3 and PC after you have finished configuring it.

Console Manager the app on ps3 and PC to make the connection. Maybe wrong name for it, buts it's needed to "connect". Or am I not supposed to have that running? I'll try with it not running too.

I was thinking since more than one of us are having the issue it would be more than a simple reboot. On top of the PC to ps3 connection is successful, with an active connection. I'll be back at the PS3 soon to try.
