(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I downloaded the DUPLEX GT6 Torrent, installed it to the correct place on my PS3 via FTP, tried to load it up and it went through the intro cinematic/cut scene, and then cuts to black. I can still hold the PS button down and press quit etc, but I can't advance into the main menu/game itself...

I've looked throughout the forum, and a few other site (of which I shan't name), and have tried numerous methods to remedy the error, with no success.

* I've downloaded all the patches the normal way, by starting the game and clicking yes to update
* I then deleted those patches, and installed the ones from You must login or register to view this content. thread via multiman
* I also made sure that I have the GT.VOL file at GAMES/BCES01893/PS3_GAME/USRDIR

In multiman, I have the game set to Internal, and BD mirror (I have tried with Direct Boot, again with no success)

Any help will be MUCH appreciated! Sorry if I am missing something that's right in front of me haha, newbie CFW user here Hi

Lol. Another guy hard this issue also lol.

This is what I did when I tested it myself.

I installed the updates. I went to mM and clicked permissions with game settings as internal and md mirror ticked.

I loaded up gt6 and it asked me to sign online, DO IT so it can do some updates that are from the online servers.

It should then pass you to the next menu.

Just tried that, and it gave me a black screen :/ Is there an iMars torrent for GT6?

Try putting the boot mode in release mode

I'll try that now, I read in a few threads that you have to spoof the game to your PS3's firmware or something. When i'm in the game settings for GT6 in multiman, at the top it says PS3 Firmware 4.40. I am on 4.50? Would that possibly be a cause?

4.40 means the the version of the ps3 fw # that it HAS to be on. It's okay if it's higher than it

I’m too L33T
Sounds to me like you are breaking it yourself by doing too many things.
Delete game data.
If using normal mM just put the entire BCES01893-[Gran Turismo6] folder into the GAMES folder on the root of your PS3's dev_hdd0 drive.
Put an original game in your PS3's Blueray drive.
Start mM and refresh your games list. Highlight the GT6 game and press square.
Select BD Mirror only.
Press Circle. Press X.
[Optional] Disable CFW with favourite tool.
The disc you have in your PS3 should now be identified as GT6.
Highlight it and press X.
Allow it to install everything it wants to.
Play game.

There is no need to mess with this game or the install if your PS3 is connected to the internet. It may even run Disc-less but I have never tried to as I just leave a disc in the drive 100% of the time.

Once you have the game working go to options and turn off install game data and the game will run faster since the game is already on the HD.
