In Gran Turismo 5, if you made the ghost glitch and then new player joined in the room. You were able to drive through his car without anything happening to you but the player whose car you hitted will jump away. If you drive throught the player who was in that lobby when you made the glitch, it will just go throught and his car will not jump.
Idk if it's still working like that in Gran Turismo 6, but there is a chance that the cars aren't hacked but only glitched.

if u dont want to be hitted u can park for few seconds the car at the pit exit, it will become ghost so u cant get hitted. Then just drive. To return normal just press start two times
