Battlefield 4 is slowly becoming the game it should be. Soldiers can take advantage of the latest netcode upcode that claims to drastically improve your online play later this week.
The video released shows the side by side comparison of the netcode patch. Its boasting over a 60% performance improvement.
The update is out on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 right now with the PS4 and Xbox One later this week.
For people wondering why there gameplay still feels the same, its because you need to enable the patch in your options. The High Frequency Bubble feature isn’t enabled by default, as it uses up a lot of bandwidth, according to the post. It can be enabled at either high, medium, or low, but those with a 1MB or faster connection should be able to use the high setting without trouble.
According somebody who works at DICE "Still being tested" so no idea if it coming or not. Given how it server side it should be possible to come to console.
